The Chicago Headline Club and the Chicago Headline Club Foundation are accepting applications for two $5,000 grants to support internship programs at not-for-profit media organizations. The grants will cover the direct costs of internships from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024.
Grant applicants must be non-profit print, broadcast or online news organizations operating in the Chicago metropolitan area. Applications will be assessed by a committee of the Headline Club Foundation and evaluated on their plans to provide hands-on, impactful experiences for journalism interns.
Applicants should submit applications via this form no later than 5 p.m. on March 10, 2023. Winners will be announced in early April. Direct questions to Laura Washington at lauraswashington@aol.com.
