The wait is over: Here are the nominees for the 38th Annual Peter Lisagor Awards for Exemplary Journalism.
Presented by the Chicago Headline Club, the awards honor the best work done by Chicago-area journalists in 2014.
The Chicago Headline Club will announce the winners of these categories, as well as the coveted Watchdog Award, Anne Keegan Award and Lifetime Achievement Award, at the Peter Lisagor dinner and awards ceremony Friday, May 8.
