Headline Club offers grants for investigative reporting

The Chicago Headline Club, the largest chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists in the nation, has grants available to help defray the costs of investigative stories, such as an airline ticket or a stack of public records.

Apply by April 29 for up to $575 or by July 29 for up to $2,000.
