Our annual public records conference, FOIA Fest, is returning as a hybrid one-day event on Saturday, March 11!
For the last three years, the Chicago Headline Club has provided virtual conferences due to the pandemic, and after hearing your feedback, we’re doing things a little differently.
Join us online or in person for a full day of breakout and joint learning sessions featuring experts, officials and journalists with real firsthand experience.
They’ll cover everything from the fundamentals to the latest data-crunching tools, all to show how public information can be used to provide valuable insights and hold officials accountable.
This year we’ll be holding the in-person conference at TeamWorking by TechNexus in downtown Chicago, a space which is built for collaborative events like FOIA Fest and is accessible from across the city.
Selected keynotes and panels will also be available for those who prefer to attend online, through an interactive platform which also includes tools for networking and connecting with experts.
More details and a sampling of the sessions are available on the official FOIA Fest platform.
FOIA Fest typically sells out and space is limited — so make sure to get your tickets today!
