The Illinois Policy Institute released a roundup on the public accessibility of suburban government info yesterday, and it is thorough. It’s results? Troubling, to say the least.
Three governments got a perfect score: Hanover Township, Kane County, and Lombard.
In last place, the Barrington Park District had less than 9 percent of the required information available for public access. 32 suburban governments had less than a 30 percent success rate.
