Board of Directors Meeting
January 21, 2006
Present: Meg Tebo, Molly McDonough, Christine Tatum and Susan S. Stevens.
Chris gave an SPJ 2006 convention update. She hopes to build up InfoMart, possibly bringing in Second City actors, a CSO violinist, authors, cooking demonstrators or such to draw a larger crowd. Maybe Chicago news leaders reading the First Amendment. There are 120 program proposals for 56 slots.
After adjournment, we attended the celebration of life for Les Brownlee. About 400 people were there, including numerous Headline Club members.
