Need advice on your portfolio or freelance pitch?
Here’s your chance.
Whether you’re a student trying to land a job or a freelancer working to sell more pitches, our group of media pros are here to offer real advice to help you on your way.
Bring in your portfolios, clips and/or pitches and you’ll get matched “speed dating” style with someone who can finally answer your questions. We’ll have experts from the print, digital and TV worlds on hand.
Join us this Saturday, October 19 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Columbia College, 33 East Ida B. Wells Drive.

Submitting pitches or resumes online can feel like sending them off into the void, so it’s much better to sit down with an actual human instead. Especially one who’s been down the same path, and may have some advice on what to do next. Also, there will be free coffee and breakfast available.
