July 24, 2019 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

How do you convince your editor to try something out of the box? In this panel discussion co-presented by the Online News Association: Chicago and the Headline Club, we’ll hear from Chicago reporters, editors and producers about how they got buy-in on innovative digital projects. They’ll also share their tips for pitching ideas that break the norm.

Following our discussion, we’ll break out for further collaboration — bring your pitches to workshop!

Panelists will include:

  • Jodi Cohen (ProPublica Illinois)
