Chicago Headline Club Board of Directors slate for 2023 announced

The Chicago Headline Club is proud to announce the Board of Directors slate for 2023, including members who will formally take office in July, pending approval from the full club membership.

Current board member Jillian Melero, Borderless Magazine, will be stepping into the role of president in the upcoming term, with the intention of serving as co-president with incoming VP of Membership Mary Hall, NewsNation.

Michael Puente, WBEZ, will be joining the board as the VP of FOIA and president-elect, to take office as the next board president in 2024.

This full slate was approved by the current Board of Directors at the May 5, 2023 meeting and will be put before the full membership of the club at the Peter Lisagor Awards banquet on May 12.
